Prospects for Tenant Protections Bill Fading Fast at Legislature

A bill that would give additional protections to tenants displaced by affordable housing developments is on its last legs in the state Legislature Thursday afternoon. That has stunned supporters who said HB 1325’s smooth passage through the state House of Representatives and Senate suggested it would at the very least be put to a vote.
