Hilo woman, 25, arrested after domestic incident
Paiva entered her ex-boyfriend’s residence without permission, threatened him while holding a 45-pound weighted exercise plate, struck him with open and closed left and right hands and fists, damaged his van, and bit him on his upper back area before fleeing the scene, according to police reports. A Honolulu Police Department officer suffered minor injuries today after a 30-year-old “wanted suspect” allegedly drove a stolen car toward a group of officers before crashing into two police cars. Read more
