Kurtistown man accused of strangling wife to death

By JOHN BURNETT Hawaii Tribune-Herald A Kailua-Kona grand jury on Monday indicted a 79-year-old Kurtistown man for the strangulation death of his 71-year-old wife almost two years ago. Jong Man Kim, originally from South Korea, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Song Cha Kim, who is believed to have died sometime between June 18, 2024, and June 20, 2024.
