Bailey Flavell tied a career high with 22 points on 8-for-10 shooting and the Hawaii women’s basketball team finally earned its first Big West win of the season, doing so in dominant fashion by blowing out Cal Poly 86-46 tonight. Read more

The United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals today said it delivered the 10-day strike notice to Kaiser executives. The strike is scheduled to begin Jan. 26. Read more
Venezuelan opposition leader Machado says she presented Nobel medal to Trump
It was not immediately clear whether he had accepted the medal. Machado, who described the meeting as “excellent,” told reporters she had done so in recognition of his commitment to the freedom of the Venezuelan people. Read more

Spotify to raise monthly subscription price in U.S.
