An Oahu grand jury indicted a 60-year-old man today for the Nov. 27 assault of a Honolulu police officer. Read more
Grand jury indicts man, 36, in sushi restaurant armed robbery
Wilsand Sardinha, allegedly armed with a simulated firearm, entered Kan Sushi at 1910 Ala Moana Blvd., just as it was closing, and pointed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money from two employees, restraining one of them, and threatening a third. Read more
Man, 43, gets three years probation in fish smuggling case
A man who plead guilty to setting up an illegal aquarium fish smuggling operation marketing non-native, endangered species and protected Hawaii reef fish was sentenced to three years probation today, according to the U.S.Department of Justice. Read more

Man, 37, seriously hurt in alleged Makiki road rage stabbing
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene at 1322 Kinau St. at 10:07 p.m. to treat a man apparently stabbed in the upper body. Read more
