This is a Civil Defense message for Wednesday 09-03-2025 at 10:17:12.

The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Statement for all coastal areas of Hawaii Island through Sunday.

Higher than normal tides are forecast for the afternoon.

Beach-goers be aware of your surroundings and exercise caution.

Motorists be aware that low-lying parking areas and roadways could flood.

If you have a boat or canoe in a coastal area, make sure they are safe for higher than normal tide conditions.
