Update: Big Island police initiate missing person investigation for Kona fisherman
Meanwhile, Hawaiʻi Fire Department and U.S. Coast Guard aerial search efforts continue offshore of South Point for 42-year-old Earl Kekuanaoa Hind and his 23-foot vessel “Makalapua Onalani.” Additional shoreline searches also are underway. Police also ask if anyone in the public might be able to help find him.

Sen. Dru Kanuha introduced Senate Concurrent Resolution 119 Draft 1 that requests the Department of Land and Natural Resources to convene a Kailua Bay Advisory Working Group to foster cordinated oversight and effective management of the area with federal, private, residential and commercial partners.

Update: Woman reported missing after last seen with her 1-year-old child located in good health
Big Island police reported early the afternoon April 10 that 28-year-old Saysha Wilson, who was reported missing April 9, was located later the same day. No further information was provided about her child or where she was located.
