More than 20,000 federal workers sign up for buyout offer

Boy, 8, dies days after Wahiawa dog attack
Police said the boy succumbed to his injuries on Monday. The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Read more
U.S. health agencies sued over removal of data websites
The lawsuit, filed in Washington, D.C. federal court, says that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has removed “numerous” longstanding websites since the order without notice, including a page on behavioral health risks among youth and a page with information on prescribing drugs that prevent HIV infection. Gunman, at least 9 others dead in attack at Swedish adult school

Investigators probe Washington plane crash wreckage and flight logs
The salvage team on Tuesday recovered part of the fuselage and right engine of the Bombardier CRJ-700 passenger jet and will retrieve the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk after the airplane has been recovered. The NTSB said it has obtained training and flight logs for both flight crews and maintenance records for both aircraft and is building histories for both flight crews. The collision occurred on Wednesday night. Read more
