Opossum captured by Kona big-box store

Injured Illinois visitor rescued from Awaʻawapuhi Trail in Kōke‘e

First responders received the report about the injured hiker just before noon Monday and personnel from the Waimea Fire Station and Rescue 3 aboard Air 1 responded. Air 1 was unable to access the area because of heavy cloud cover, so Rescue 3 personnel and Waimea firefighters hiked the trail to get to the injured
