Advanced Virtual Screening and Panel Discussion

Join us for an exclusive sneak peek of the PBS Hawaiʻi Presents film, Kai Piha: Diamond Head Makai.
Hawaiʻi filmmaker Anne Marie Kirk partners with historian and surfer John Clark to provide a detailed history of the beaches, surf breaks and shoreline of Diamond Head, taking viewers on a tour starting at the Kāhala side of Diamond Head and continuing along the shoreline westward towards Kapiʻolani Park.

His tour covers everything from the volcanic composition of the historic landmark to the cultural context of specific locations and their names.

Following the screening, join us for a discussion with:
  • Ann Marie Kirk, Director/Producer/Camera
  • John Clark, Host/Producer
The screening will be held from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm followed by the panel discussion from 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm.
