A special “mahalo” goes out to everyone who participated in Laupahoehoe Community Public Charter School’s “Makahiki Games.”  Hundreds of students opened the games with traditional protocols, the giving of gifts, and thanks to our elders and the ‘aina.’  The weather was blessed by a morning shower and mild afternoon temperatures.  Everyone had a good time.
