Suspect sought in Downtown Hilo burglary

South Hilo patrol officers responded at about 2:40 a.m. Oct. 10 to a report of an alarm at a business in the 400 block of Manono Street. Officers determined a male suspect entered the business, removed numerous pieces of merchandise and fled the scene.

Wednesday Disaster Recovery Community Meeting to be held at Lahaina Intermediate

Kaua‘i County offices, other services closed for Election Day

HI5 redemption centers in Kīlauea and Kapa‘a are open, and the schedule for residential refuse pickup is unchanged. The Kaua‘i Bus is operating on its regular schedule and offering free bus service islandwide today. All other county offices and services will resume regular hours Wednesday.
