State launches Gun Tip Line

The state Department of Law Enforcement has established a Gun Tip Line for people to make anonymous reports of illegal gun ownership and gun crimes.

DLNR: Hit-and-run driver kills nene in Hilo park

A male nene, banded as 595, was killed this morning by a hit-and-run driver while apparently crossing a road in Liliʻuokalani Gardens off Banyan Drive, according to the state Department of Land and Natural Resources.
