The University of Hawaiʻi’s flagship Mānoa campus eliminated application fees and increased scholarships for local high school students, helping to drive a new record for freshmen enrollment this fall — and sending overall enrollment to its highest level in 12 years.

Bill 123 would allow property owners to build up to three ADUs, each of which can serve as residential housing units. If the lot has more than one primary dwelling, an ADU would be allowed for each of them.
