17-year-old Deacon Hawk was last seen Aug. 3 in Hilo and 17-year-old Cherish Ahulau-Kaleo was last seen July 20 in Hilo. Both were reported as runaways.

52-year-old David Scheper is 5-foot-5, 200 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen in Kona and is known to frequent Hilo and Kona.

Woman in critical condition after being struck by pickup truck in Puna
Hawai‘i Island police are investigating following a Monday morning collision between a 2022 Hyundai pickup truck and woman, whose age has not been released, that happened shortly before 6 a.m. Monday in the general area of Palm Way on ʻĀinaloa Boulevard in ʻĀinaloa.
