House bill meant to limit governor’s emergency powers could be vetoed
Some examples where Gov. Green might want to use his powers to shut down media communications include extreme violence or acts of terrorism. The governor has until July 10 to decide whether or not to kill the bill.

Elderly woman found strangled in Puna home; Hawai‘i Island police investigate
On June 20 at approximately 3:14 p.m., Puna patrol officers responded to a residence in the 16-1100 block of Uhini Ana Road in Mountain View after an elderly man found his 71-year-old wife lying unresponsive on the floor within their residence.

UH-discovered asteroid to make close approach to Earth, no impact risk
