U.N. Security Council backs Israel-Hamas ceasefire plan
Russia abstained from the U.N. vote, while the remaining 14 Security Council members voted in favor of the resolution supporting a three-phase ceasefire plan laid out by Biden on May 31 that he described as an Israeli initiative. Read more
NOAA: Male Hawaiian monk seal moved after run-ins with divers
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said “a pattern of escalating underwater interactions with divers and snorkelers off the west coast of Hawaii island” prompted the move. Read more

FAA says unruly airline passenger cases remain high
