Adjutant General Hara to retire; Green tabs Logan as successor
Gov. Josh Green announced Friday that Maj. Gen. Kenneth S. Hara — the state adjutant general, commander of the Hawaii National Guard and director of the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency — will resign as adjutant general on Oct. 1, and retire from the Army on Nov. 1 after 40 years of military service.
